October is ending very soon and it's mean the Halloween time will coming very soon...well, I'm not actually celebrating Halloween sih, cuma suka aja joining Halloween party buat ngetes sedikit adrenalin, apalagi kalau Halloween-nya pasang setan-setan khas Indonesia ya kaaan hahaha...One of Halloween thematic party I loved every year, is the one celebrated at Cafe One, The Park Lane Hotel, Jakarta. Every year, Cafe One has a different and unique Halloween celebration. I don't how to describe, but how the teams create the spookiness and scariness ambiance for the guests are worth for big thumbs up. This year, they present Tales of Halloween Buffet Dinner "Spooktacular Night Full of #tricksortreat".
Cafe One invites all the guests to feel the scariness of the cemetery area. They were putting scary coffin completed with the dead body and several scary skulls and oh hate to mention, there's a scary Sadako as well which made me scream sooo bad hahaha...To make it scarier, The Executive Chef of Cafe One, Chef Deden, was also create some imaginative and scary decoration, such as hanging fish and meats, crystal ball, the scary scarecrow, and some scary pumpkin carvings. Frankly speaking, the ambiance was soooo scary. I also heard that the moans of Sadako. Oh Goooodd, I suggest you to not come alone here hahaha....
Well, won't telling you too much story, let me present you "that" scary decors you will see during Halloween in Cafe One, the Park Lane Hotel.

Not only Sadako, you will also be accompanied by these waiter and waitress in scary face painting. Don't panic when they suddenly appear on your back and offer you a drink ;-)
That's only decorations, wait until you see the scary yet imaginative food which will be presented to you during the dinner. All food from appetizer, main course to desserts were made creatively imaginative and scary, challenge everyone to eat. You see that scary coffin and dead body? Well, that's edible desserts made of good white chocolate, icings, and cakes! Let's see another imaginative food made by Chef Deden and the team both for Cafe One and Riva Grill & Bar

You'll also amazed with their imaginative kind of desserts. Year by year, Cafe One always gave something beyond our imagination. Do you remember my last year post about the edible dead body made from edible beef and ribs at Cafe One 2016's Halloween Dinner Buffet? If not, you can see here. That's as insane as last year, this year Chef Deden made a terrific creation of the dead body with cakes and chocolates. As you see in below photos, are skulls and the body are made of chocolate, biscuits, candies, and cakes. Even the white blankets are made of sugar icings, the body made of red velvet and rainbow cakes and the coffin's wall paper made of chocolate. Super genius!
Some that you won't be missed are their skull pudding, worm pannacotta, finger cookies, brain cupcakes and caterpillar cookies. For me, rather than scary, they're just too cute to be eaten hahaha...and trust me they're delicious as well.
For the main menu, my favorite would be Riva's tenderloin steak with blood vampire sauce, made of cranberries and mushroom and Cafe One's the Skull and The Worm pasta.
