Cafe D'Pakar, Bandung

Feeling so bored with fancy restaurant in the city, so I decided to find a fresh air at the top of Bandung. Thus, this long weekend I visited one of the happening cafe in Dago Atas area, Cafe D'Pakar. This cafe is located at Bukit Pakar Utara near Taman Hutan Raya Juanda which almost reaching the peak of Bandung. To reach this area in the weekend, you need an extra effort since the road along this way will pack with tourists visiting THR Juanda. So, prepare to stuck at a long traffic jam haha.

However, once reaching the cafe, all your sacrifice will be paid by the beautiful scenery outside the cafe. Well, this cafe was designed to bring people enjoying a beautiful mountain view, fresh air and good food in one place. The cafe dividied into two areas, indoor in a Javanese Joglo House and outdoor where they placed several random table around the outdoor area. Most people love the outdoor area, no wonder the waiting list would be around 20 per day.

If you happen to visit here and do not have a chance to sit at their outdoor area, don't be sad since for me their indoor area was also cozy with wooden furniture and of course no sunlight will harm you hahaha....

Talking about the food, Cafe D'Pakar serving appetizer, main course to light snacks. And most of all are Indonesian food. I saw some Korean noodle was also served here and be customers favorite.

Cireng Salju - 15K
My all time fav traditional snacks! This fried sagu was perfectly fried with light and moist texture. Served with 'sambal rujak' this snacks was perfect to company my day while enjoying the view

Soto Bandung - 35K

I'm a frequent Bandung's visitor, but honestly I never tried Soto Bandung before hahaha...Frankly speaking, for the first timer, Soto Bandung here was freakin TASTY! The broth was sooo tasty and savoury completed with rebung, fried peanut, beef, and tauge. A Must TRY!

Pempek - 20K
This one was my hubby's fav. A crunchy pempek served with noodle and 'acar'. Nothing special sih, but the broth was quite tasty and not too spicy.

Overall experience here was good. Price still wise. Though in the weekend this cafe was so crowded, the service still okay and fast. Well, if you are in Bandung, need some fresh air or some kinda city-hustle-bustle getaway, this place was very recommended. Tips for you, come very very EARLY in the morning if you want to sit outdoor.

They even planting a various and bautiful flowers which sooo fotogenic to be captured!
